About Me

As a Medical Director at Divino Plastic Surgery, Dr. Carlos Chacon, MD, MBA, performs cosmetic surgery. His ability as a surgeon is undeniable, given that he has almost ten years of experience helping thousands of patients. He had known that he wanted to pursue his craft from a young age. He always knew he would have a hands-on job, and he discovered he enjoys the challenge of the challenging surgical procedures needed in plastic surgery.

First-generation Mexican American Dr. Carlos was born in Tuscon, Arizona. Small towns in Sonora, Mexico, were the hometowns of his immigrant parents. he has resided in California for almost 20 years.

He graduated from the University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Science in Physiological Science while he was a resident of Arizona. Three years later, he enrolled at the University of Arizona College of Medicine, earning his Doctor of Medicine degree (M.D.).

He briefly studied neurodegenerative disorders in 2005 at Florence, Italy's Università Degli Studi di Firenze. He then advanced to the position of resident in the University of California San Francisco's Department of General Surgery in 2005. He continued to work as a resident for the University of California San Francisco after switching his focus to the Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery in 2008. In 2010, he became the Division of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery's Chief Resident.
